Why You Can Trust These Numbers

Everything on this page comes from units we sold and tested ourselves, not from a manufacturer sheet. We ran a puff-count test, a Dubai heat test, and we have handled counterfeit units and documented how to spot them. The sections below show the results.

Key Features

12,000 puffs from one device

Most disposables in Dubai deliver 2,500 to 6,000 puffs. At 200 to 300 puffs a day, the T12000 lasts roughly 6 to 8 weeks.

Rechargeable 600mAh battery

The common complaint with disposables is a dead battery before the liquid runs out. USB-C charging means you can use the full 24ml.

Smart LED display

Battery and e-liquid level on every draw, so you know when the device is nearly finished.

1.0Ω dual mesh coil

Built for consistent flavour across the life of the device.

Dual power modes

Press the mode button three times to switch. Normal Mode for smooth all-day draws; Power Mode for denser vapour and a stronger throat hit.

Normal Mode vs Power Mode: What Actually Changes

Most listings mention both modes and never explain the difference.

Normal Mode. Lower power, smooth and flavour-focused, moderate vapour density. This is the mode for desk sessions, commutes and long days.

Power Mode. Higher power, the coil runs hotter, vapour is visibly denser, the throat hit is stronger and the nicotine reaches you faster. Best for specific moments, and it suits shisha, tobacco and mint profiles.

The trade-off in numbers. Using Power Mode all the time cuts the total to roughly 10,500–11,000 puffs. At 400 puffs a day that is about 26–27 days instead of 29–30. For most people the practical approach is Normal Mode during the day and Power Mode in the evening.

How to switch: press the small button on the device face three times quickly. The LED display shows the active mode.

Puff Count Test: 98% of the Claim

Many high-puff disposables fall well short of their claim. We tested the T12000 on DVG retail stock.

Draw length matters. Longer draws use more liquid per puff, so the count drops.

Tugboat T12000 Flavours (All 16)

All 16 are selectable at checkout. Tugboat sells some flavours under different names on the box. If your box name differs, use the Name on box column.

A dash means the box name matches the listing name.

First-time buyer picks

• From a shisha background: Double Apple Shisha in Power Mode
• Want pure cooling: Cool Mint in Normal Mode
• Moving off cigarettes: VCT in Power Mode
• Can’t decide: Lush Ice, the safest all-round choice

Most reordered at DVG: Cool Mint, Double Apple Shisha and Lush Ice.

How Long Does the Tugboat T12000 Last?

Based on roughly 11,000–11,760 puffs per device.

Cost works out to about AED 0.29 per 100 puffs at the listed puff count.

Dubai Heat Test

Devices in the UAE face conditions most reviews ignore: 45°C air and car interiors above 60°C.

Our test (August): one T12000 left on the centre console of a parked car in Jumeirah, windows closed, no shade, for a full afternoon.

• E-liquid leakage: none
• Casing deformation: none
• Battery: unaffected
• First puff afterwards: a brief warm note that cleared within 3 draws

This does not mean you should leave a vape in a hot car. It shows the device copes with Dubai summers.

How to Check Your Tugboat T12000 Is Original

We have come across at least 3 counterfeit T12000 units in Dubai’s informal market since mid-2024. They look convincing outside and behave differently inside.

What we do: we open and spot-check units from every box (both modes, LED response) before dispatch, and we leave the authentication label intact so you can check it yourself. If a unit fails any check on arrival, message us on WhatsApp for a replacement.

(If Tugboat’s verification portal is confirmed, add: “Verify your code at [portal link].”)

Who Should Buy the T12000, and Who Should Not

A good fit if you:

• want one device to last about a month at around 400 puffs a day
• want a lighter or stronger hit from the same device with one button
• have been sold counterfeit disposables before and want a seller that checks units
• prefer tested numbers over manufacturer claims

Consider something else if you:

• want more flavour choice: look at the Elf Bar BC10000 or Al Fakher Crown Bar Pro 8000
• want more puffs: look at the Lost Mary MT35000 Turbo
• want a tight cigarette-style draw: the Ghost Pro 3500 is the better pick, since the T12000 is tuned for more open draws
